UTI Offers Vocational School Scholarships
The Universal Technical Institute offers Vocational School Scholarships to students attending UTI.
One such vocational school scholarship is the Bridgestone/Firestone Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to students attending the Avondale, Sacramento, or Rancho Cucamonga campuses. Each campus will award one $2000 technical school scholarship per deadline.
In order to be eligible for this scholarship program, you must fill out the FAFSA, be enrolled in one of the above campuses, show a passion for an automotive education, and complete the application by the September 15th deadline.
But this is not the only scholarship at this technical school. Nissan also offers educational money to UTI students. To be eligible for this scholarship program, you must already be a current student in good standing at UTI in the automotive or diesel industrial program with a minimum 90% attendance rate and a minimum GPA of 3.0. You must also be able to participate in a two-week Nissan/Infiniti Dealer sponsored unpaid internship (check and see if you are eligible for this leave of absence). Qualifying students must also be amenable to working with a certain Nissan/Infiniti dealership after graduating.
Application for this vocational school scholarship must be completed and submitted no later than 10-weeks prior to the NATT start date.
Lastly, UTI also has the Knight Transportation Diesel Scholarship Program. To be eligible for this $2500 scholarship, you must have completed the FAFSA, be in good standing in the diesel industrial program at UTI’s Avondale, Glendale Heights, Houston, or
Sacramento campus and must have completed 25 weeks of your educational program with a minimum attendance record of 90% and GPA of at least 3.0. minimum GPA of 3.0.
