Apply for McDonald’s Scholarships Now

The McDonald scholarship applications are available and are being accepted available through the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

These McDonald Scholarships include the Scholars Scholarship, which is open to all applicants regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin; the Asian Scholarship which is open to currently enrolled high school seniors who have at least one parent of Asian-Pacific heritage; the African American Future Achievers which is open to currently enrolled high school seniors who have at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage; and the HACER Future Achievers which is open to currently enrolled high school seniors who have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage.

Applicants can only apply for one of the above scholarships and must be a US citizen, have a GPA of 2.7, have a financial need, and be eligible to attend a 2 or 4-year accredited school.

Everyone knows that KFC is short for Kentucky Fried Chicken, but many probably are not aware that the Colonel is offering a $5000 college scholarships for those who qualify and apply.

This scholarship will be awarded to 50 seniors graduating seniors who share the entrepreneurial spirit of KFC and also who need help affording college.

To be eligible for this tasty scholarship you must be:

  • Graduating from high school this academic year (between 12/1/09 and 8/31/10)
  • Enrolling no later than 09/30/2010 in an accredited college or university within the state of which you are a resident
  • Earning a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, however, you can attend a two-year community college with ability to transfer to a four-year
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Able to demonstrate financial need
