Having a career in the healthcare fields is about taking care of others and Tylenol wants to help students who are pursuing a degree in a health-related field pay for their education by giving these students a chance at the Tylenol Scholarships.

Tylenol Scholarships are in their 18th year of helping students pay for their education. And this year, they will be awarding $250,000 in scholarships.

These Tylenol Scholarships are open to anyone getting their education in the healthcare field and does qualify as one of the scholarships for dads, as many dads are having to reinvent themselves and change their career paths right now. And the healthcare industry is a perfect career choice, as nurses, physician assistants, and other fields are now in high demand.

Going to medical school is quite expensive, but Doctors for Maine’s Future Scholarships can help with that high-priced tuition. This scholarship amount is $25,000 and is renewable, meaning you can get $25,000 per year for four years. This scholarship, though, is can only be used at an eligible Maine-based medical school program and for 2009/2010 include Maine Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program (MMC – TUSM Medical School Program) and the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Students applying have had to live in Maine for at least one year and not just for educational purposes. This scholarship is aimed at addressing Maine’s acute shortage of primary care doctors, along with the high cost of a medical education. Interested students should contact the Maine-based medical schools to which they are applying for admission to receive information about how to apply for the scholarship.
