If you are looking for scholarships for disabled students and you live in California/Hawaii you should know that there is a scholarship available from the California-Hawaii Elks.
In order to be eligible, student must posses either a neurological impairment, hearing impairment, visual impairment, or physical impairment. You must also be an American Citizen and be either a high school senior, high school graduate, or recipient of a GED. Of course, you also have to be a resident of California or Hawaii.
The scholarship for disabled students award amount is generally $1000 for vocational schools and and $2000 for four-year colleges. Scholarship winners will be based on financial need and community involvement.
