Even though cooking is felt to be a “woman’s” job in the home, many of the top chefs seen in restaurants all across the country are in fact men. But getting that culinary education does not come cheap. So, if you have a passion for cooking and want to attend the French Culinary Institute in New York, then check out these culinary scholarships available right now.
To be eligible for these culinary scholarships you have to be a US citizen and permanent resident. You must also fill out the FAFSA and show financial need.
These scholarships include:
- Evening Culinary Institute Scholarship (deadline February 28th)
- Friend of the FCI Spring Award (deadline March 19th)
- The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts Craft of Food Writing Scholarship (deadline March 19th)
To find out more about these culinary scholarships plus a bunch more, go to their website here.
