Aeronautics Scholarship Program from NASA
Is a degree in the Aeronautical or Aerospace fields in your college plans? How about an engineering degree, be it chemical, civil, computer, mechanical, industrial, etc? If you are looking for a degree involving space and can show how you think your current program fits with the field of Aeronautics, then you may have a chance at getting this scholarship from NASA through their scholarship program.
For undergraduate students, $15,000 will be awarded each school year to cover educational costs and related expenses. There is also an additional $10,000 for summer internship at NASA and two years of support.
For graduate students, a $35,000 stipend will be awarded, $11,000 to be awarded each year for educational and related expenses, plus also $10,000 for summer internship at NASA and two years of support with an option for three.
NASA is looking for scholarship applicants who are US citizens who want to pursue a degree in aeronautics. As part of the scholarship application, you must submit an essay describing what you consider to be the greatest technical challenges in aeronautics for the next 20-25 years, and why. You can pick more than one, but must explain each.
It is expected that NASA will award 20 undergraduate scholarships and five graduate scholarships.
