High school seniors who do not eat meat, fish, or fowl are welcome to apply for scholarships available to vegetarians. This is another different and strange scholarship you can apply for.

Each year the Vegetarian Resource Group will award two $5000 scholarships to high school seniors who are vegetarians and have promoted vegetarianism in their school and/or communities. Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle.
