Ranch Scholarships in California

Are you planning on pursuing studies in cattle or sheep ranching and have a focus on range management plus do you live in California? If you answer yes, then this may be the scholarship for you.

The California Farm Bureau Federation is offering the the Rustici Livestock and Rangeland Scholarship. Priority will be given for those students who intent on returning to the family ranch.

Those who apply applicant must write an essay of 500 words or less explaining why he/she has chosen the field of beef cattle or sheep ranching, or range management; the goals he/she has set forth; and how past, present and future activities make the accomplishment of these goals possible. GPA above a “C” is desired, but grades are not part of the criteria for this scholarship in California.
