Scholarship for Single Dads in Lehigh Acres Florida

If you area single dad or single mom living in Lehigh Acres, Florida, then you can apply for the General Woman’s Club of Lehigh Acres Scholarship program, who will be awarding several $500 Florida scholarships to single parents with minor children living at home.
In order to apply, you must be currently enrolled in continuing education classes at an accredited college, university or technical school and must be a resident of Lehigh Acres.
Unfortunately, there is no pre-printed application forms at this time. But those who are interested in a scholarship for single dads and moms should send their own application with the following information.
- Proof of residence in Lehigh such as a utility bill, rent receipt, etc.
- Must be a single parent with minor children living at home.
- Name of college, university or technical school in which you are currently enrolled.
- A brief biography that includes information on your area of study.
- Your street address and telephone number where you can be contacted, no post office boxes.
Mail your completed application requirements to Mrs. C. Neary, Scholarship Chairman, 303 Hollywood St., Lehigh Acres, FL. 33936. For more information, call 369-7168. Your scholarship application must be received no later than April 30, 2011 in order to be considered. Award will be issued on May 20, 2011.
