Scholarship Program for Nebraska Students
The Board of Trustees’ Scholarship program for Chadron, Peru, or Wayne State College is now accepting applications.
In order to qualify for this Nebraska Scholarship, you must have a score at least a 25 on the ACT or 1700 on the SAT college entrance exam, be a 2011 graduate from a Nebraska high school, enroll as a full-time college student at Chadron, Peru or Wayne State in the fall of 2011, be a resident of Nebraska, and provide at least one letter of recommendation from a high school administrator or teacher.
Other factors may be considered as appropriate, such as grade point average and rank in class.
An applicant may apply for a scholarship at ONLY ONE state college and is awarded for one academic year (two semesters). The scholarship is renewable for subsequent academic years (not to exceed eight academic semesters if completed within a total of five years) and Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time students carrying 12 hours or more per semester.
