Free Grant Money for Scholarships
A college education has become downright expensive, so many people are unable to afford to go back to school right now. Plus most education budgets are also feeling the pinch and are not financially able to award as many scholarships as they once were.
However, a college in Kentucky has just been awarded some free grant money that is to be used for college scholarships.
A college in southeastern Kentucky called Union College is the lucky recipient of grant money from the National Science Foundation. This grant will be used to offer scholarships to students who are interested in studying math, biology or chemistry. The total amount awarded to Union College was $500,000, which will mean a lot more students will be receiving scholarships than before.
These scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students at Union College in Kentucky in the amount of $5000 to $10,000 per year and is eligible to be combined with other forms of financial aid.
