Looking for an easy scholarship program to enter? Well I have found one. StorageMart is taking a different approach in their scholarship program. Instead of limiting scholarship applicants to a select few, they are opening the scholarship gates.

Anyone who is enrolled in any college, university, technical school, apprentice program, culinary school, public school, private school, ivy league school, fine arts academy, military school, veterinary school, cosmetology school or specialty school of any kind (you get the picture) can apply for this scholarship.

This scholarship program, named ScholarSmarts, wants to help anyone who is looking to further their education fund their dreams. The money can be used for tuition, books, computers and laptops, software, lab fees, room and board, rent, child care or even your mortgage.  Basically, ScholarSmarts feeling is that if  you are putting in the time, effort and money to get your degree, you can use the awarded scholarship money for anything you see fit to help you attain that goal, including paying bills.

To enter the StorageMart ScholarSmarts easy scholarship program, you must be a full or part time student and submit a 500-word essay on one of the following topics:

1. How has staying organized attributed to success in your academic, professional or personal life?
2. What link is there between a clutter-free workspace and increased productivity?
3. How has self storage improved your lifestyle?
4. What is the relationship between organizing your home and lowering stress levels?

There will be five $1000 scholarships awarded but you must submit your scholarship application before the July 15th deadline. Each essay must be at least 500 words, unique content (no plagiarism), and contain an essay title.

If you area single dad or single mom living in Lehigh Acres, Florida, then you can apply for the General Woman’s Club of Lehigh Acres Scholarship program, who will be awarding several $500 Florida scholarships to single parents with minor children living at home.

In order to apply, you must be currently enrolled in continuing education classes at an accredited college, university or technical school and must be a resident of Lehigh Acres.

Unfortunately, there is no pre-printed application forms at this time. But those who are interested in a scholarship for single dads and moms should send their own application with the following information.

• Proof of residence in Lehigh such as a utility bill, rent receipt, etc.
• Must be a single parent with minor children living at home.
• Name of college, university or technical school in which you are currently enrolled.
• A brief biography that includes information on your area of study.
• Your street address and telephone number where you can be contacted, no post office boxes.

Mail your completed application requirements to Mrs. C. Neary, Scholarship Chairman, 303 Hollywood St., Lehigh Acres, FL. 33936. For more information, call 369-7168. Your scholarship application must be received no later than April 30, 2011 in order to be considered. Award will be issued on May 20, 2011.
