Nursing Scholarships for Dads
A once thought only as a female profession, now more and more men are entering the field of nursing and looking for Nursing Scholarships for Dads.
The baby boomers are in retirement and the country is expanding like never before, which means that there is an increased need for those in the health care field, including nurses. But returning to school can be very costly, unless you can find some scholarships or free government money for nursing students that will help foot the bill.
There are quite a few different grants and scholarships that you could qualify to receive if you are planning on going into the field of nursing. From the government you can receive you whole tuition paid for in the form of a grant. All you have to do is agree to working at a hospital in need of your services for at least two years after you graduate. This means that not only will you get your schooling paid for, but your first job when you graduate will be secured and will give you the much needed experience and money you need.
Of course, if you chose not to want to work in one of the available hospitals, you can always apply for grant money that you may qualify to receive based on your income. This can total $9500, if you qualify.

It is important to keep checking back to the different nursing sites to see if they are offering any new scholarships and/or when they start accepting applications for scholarships. Sometimes they start accepting applications in January but other times it may be later in the year, so it is very important to keep on top of these scholarships.
