Indiana Scholarships

1. Nursing Scholarship:If you have a financial need and are willing to work at a health care setting in need after graduation, you can receive up to $5000 for your nursing school. 2. Minority Teachers/Special Services Scholarship:If you are of a minority and are an education major or majoring in special services such as physical therapy, you can apply for this scholarship worth up to $4000. To find out more go to the application site.
3. Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship:This is a merit-based scholarship for a high school senior or GED recipient (must apply the year you received your GED). This scholarship is worth $1500. To find out more, go to the application site.
4. Hoosier Scholar Award: This scholarship is for Indiana residents based on merit. Applicants must rank in the top 20% of their graduating class to qualify for this scholarship. 5. American Cancer Society Scholarship:This scholarship is available to cancer survivors under the age of 20, who are a legal resident of Indiana or Michigan. For more information go to their website.
7. Charlie Curry SMART Bus Scholarship:This scholarship is open to students in Iowa and Illinois (in certain counties), both high school seniors and college students. To find out more information go to this website.
8. Indiana Engineering Scholarships: This scholarship is available to residents in Indiana who have already attained at least half of the credits required for an undergraduate ABET accredited engineering degree. To find out more information go this website.
9. Indiana University Commuter Scholarship: If you are a junior at Indiana University in good academic and conduct standing and you commute to and from classes, you can apply for this commuter scholarship for IU. For more information click here.
