As it is getting closer to spring, finding new scholarships is becoming a little tougher. But today I came across some crazy scholarships at brickfish.

There is a whole list of crazy scholarships that you can try to get. For example:

These crazy scholarship are awarded in a contest form in which you upload your pic or video (whichever they want) and then it gets voted on. The one with the most votes wins.

Vegetarian Scholarships Available

High school seniors who do not eat meat, fish, or fowl are welcome to apply for scholarships available to vegetarians. This is another different and strange scholarship you can apply for.

Each year the Vegetarian Resource Group will award two $5000 scholarships to high school seniors who are vegetarians and have promoted vegetarianism in their school and/or communities. Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle.

The deadline for the scholarships available to vegetarians is February 20, 2010. For more information go here.

Scholarship Contest on Fire Sprinklers

Looking for an easy scholarship to enter? Well, this may be the one for you.

This easy scholarship is open to all high school seniors in the US who are US citizens and is not based on financial need. To enter you must read the provided essay on fire sprinklers and then take a 10-question multiple-choice test. This test is open-book, so you may want to print the essay beforehand for reference during testing. Applicants will receive one (1) entry into a drawing for one of ten $2,000 scholarships for each right answer. For each question answered incorrectly, you will be given one more chance at the end of the exam to answer those questions correctly. A total of 10 entries into the drawing is possible if the student answers all of the questions right.

But, do not try to enter more than once, or else you will be disqualified without notice.
