More Michigan Scholarships Available

Scholarships are available to students in the Grand Haven Area. This includes scholarships for dads and students.

Some of these Michigan Scholarships include:

  • James W. Jr. and Jane T. Brown Fund, which is a scholarship for men and women in the tri-city area who are returning to school after a period of working. To qualify, you must be over 21 and meet financial requirements.
  • Dake Community Manufacturing Scholarship, which is a scholarship for persons wanting to further their manufacturing education. Applicants can be either graduating high school students, current college students, or adult students. Financial aid is a consideration but GPA is not.
  • Scott A. Flahive Scholarship offers educational assistance to local students pursuing a career in law enforcement or criminal justice.
  • Floto-Peel Family Fund is for students who plan to pursue an education in nursing or business at a 2 or 4-year college or university. To qualify you must have a GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need.

Michigan Scholarships Available from Community Choice Foundation

Community Choice Credit Union is offering a total of $100,000 to Michigan Students.

To qualify for these Michigan Scholarships, you must be a high school senior who has been formally accepted into an accredited community college, college, or university in the state of Michigan and reside in Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw or Wayne counites.

Applicants must also be enrolling in a course program pursuant to an Associates or Bachelors Degree and have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 (B average) on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants must also submit a 300 word essay discussing why you have decided to remain a Michigan resident and how your course work and intended degree will allow you to enrich Michigan, its communities, or a Michigan industry.
