Scholarships for Dads in Colorado

Scholarships for dads can sometimes be few and far between, but the Philo Club in Loveland Colorado is offering scholarships to residents of Loveland or Berthoud to anyone, adult or student, who wants are interested in a technical/vocational school (2-year or less degree/certificate) only. This is not open to anyone wanting to attend a 4-year college or university.

Since very few organizations offer scholarships that are limited to only those students wanting to pursue a 2-year degree and the Philo Club feels that this type of work is abundant, is only makes sense to offer these scholarships for dads, adults, and students. A few examples of scholarships include training in automotive repair, mechanics, cosmetology, certified nurse assistant, retail merchandising, childcare professions, police and firemen courses, paralegal certification, and business courses.

In order to qualify to apply for this vocational scholarship, you must have a career goal in mind, show financial need, be strongly motivated, and of course be a resident of Loveland or Berthoud.

Applications MUST be postmarked by March 26, 2010. To find out more information about the vocational scholarships for dads, go here.
