Technology Scholarships Available at UTSA

AT&T has scholarships available for technology majors at UTSA. The scholarships are worth up to $5000 a piece and may be used on tuition, books, and fees.

In order to qualify for these Technology Scholarships, applicants must be a students studying for a degree who are already enrolled or planning to enroll at UTSA as a full-time student, with a course study that will allow them to enter a job in technology after graduation This includes areas such as engineering, communication with a focus on electronic media, biology, chemistry, and business courses such as management science. See application for full list of approved subjects.

Scholarships applicants who are incoming freshman must have graduated in the top 25% of his/her high school class. And for those current UTSA undergraduates or graduate students, a new transfer undergraduate student, or a new graduate student, applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA on previous college courses.

Scholarships for Dads and Students in Wisconsin

Even though it is a little late in the game for new scholarships available, there are two scholarships that South Wood of Wisconsin residents can apply for now.

One is the John Todd Family Music Scholarship.   John Todd was a lover of music all of his life and after serving in the Army, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree. He then went on to teach music, publically and privately, for the next 40 years. Hence, his family has setup this music scholarship in his name.

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must be a rsident of south Wood County entering your junior year of college with a  GPA of at least a 3.0. Of course, you must be pursuing a music degree and demonstrate a high integrity, strong work ethic and passion for music.

Another Scholarship for Dads and Students Available to South Wood County residents is the Elder Health Care Scholarship.  This scholarship was established in honor of Margaret Timm Boles by her family. Margaret passed away just three months before her 100th birthday and at the time was residing at The Renaissance. She was very grateful  to her caregivers, as they were loving and kind. And this scholarship will help assist those who are interested in a career in elder health care.

To be eligible for scholarships available, you must be either a graduating high school senior or non-traditional student who resides in south Wood County and be pursuing a degree in the geriatric health care field. It is also important that scholarship applicants demonstrate acaring and helping attitude as well as a passion towards working with the senior population.

Members of the Michigan Omni Credit Union are urged to apply for the scholarships now being offered. This includes the five non-renewable $1000 Michigan Scholarships that will be awarded to graduating high school seniors, who are members of the Omni Credit Union. The winners of this scholarship will be based on GPA and written essay.

The second Michigan Scholarship also being offered is the McCulley Scholarship. This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Bobby J. McCulley, who served as a volunteer at the credit union for 26 years. This scholarship consists of one $2000 scholarship that will be awarded based on written essay, GPA, and a proven track record of community service.
