Scholarships for Dads with Kidney Disease

The Kidney and Urology Foundation of America is offering the New Day Education and Rehabilitation Scholarship Award for adults over the age of 25. In order to qualify, you must be over the age of 25 and carry a diagnosis of a kidney or urological disease. The scholarship, valued at a renewable $1500 per year, can be used to obtain a degree, learn a new job skill, change careers, engage in physical rehabilitation, or obtain a professional certification.

This scholarship for dads and any adult with kidney disease is renewable for up to four year. The Scholarship will be based on financial need, motivation to obtain goals, and prior achievements.

Scholarships Available for Those Affected by MS

If you or one of your parents suffers from multiple sclerosis, there is a scholarship for you. Since MS can be financially devastating on a family, which may prevent those living with the disease unable to attend college or a vocational school, the National MS Society has scholarships available.

You must be a high school senior or GED recipient who either suffers from MS or has a parent with MS in order to qualify for this scholarship opportunity. The minimum amount awarded is $1000 with the maximum being $3000.
