Middle School Scholarship for Students in Calhoun
Most students apply for college scholarships in their junior and senior years of high school and beyond. But this is a middle school scholarship, showing it is never too early to start thinking about getting your much needed college funding.
The Florida Prepaid College Foundation is accepting scholarship applications from middle school students from Calhoun County in Florida until October 15th. In order to qualify to receive this full ride Florida scholarship you must be in the 7th or 8th grade and qualify for the free lunch program.
To enter, you must write an essay about a Florida governor and what significant impact he had on the state. And unlike many scholarship programs, the entry pool will be quite small, as due to the size of the middle school population in Calhoun, you will have a one in 214 chance of winning. Pretty good odds, I believe.
