Easy Scholarships to Enter

If you are searching for some easier scholarships
to enter as opposed to those requiring long essays, hours of community service, high GPA, etc, then you may want to apply for some of these easy scholarships at Zinch.

Zinch is a website that will “hook you up with colleges, scholaships, and make it fun.” If you set up an account with Zinch, you can enter to win a a variety of scholarship contests. One such scholarship contest is the “three sentence essay” scholarship. The topic will vary, but if your three sentence essay is picked as best, you will be awarded with a $1000 scholarship prize.

There are also scholarship contests based solely on the year you were born. So if you have a birth year of 1992 or 1993, then you have a shot at winning a nearly $2000 scholarship.

There are also digital profile scholarship contests and other scholarships based on GPA, community service, and the regular scholarship criteria.

Blueberry Scholarship in North Carolina

If you love blueberries, and who doesn’t, and you are a high school senior in the blueberry region of North Carolina, you can apply for the scholarship for blueberry lovers. Actually, you do not have to love blueberries, but you do have to write an essay on why blueberries are the perfect food or why blueberries are the perfect plant.

Up to $20,000 in North Carolina Scholarships will be awarded at the 2010 Blueberry Festival in North Carolina. Public, private and home school students who reside or attend high school in New Hanover, Pender, Bladen, Duplin and Sampson counties are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

The winner of this blueberry scholarship will be based on the following criteria:
1. Senior in secondary education.
2. Reside or attend school in one of the above-stated North Carolina Counties.
3. Write and submit an essay on the above topic.
4. Acceptance into an accredited two or four year college or university.
5. Full-time student status (minimum of 12 credit hours/semester).

You do not have to be pursuing a degree in Agriculture to qualify for this scholarship.
